Why THE PLAZE

Living can be this simple.

Temporary living rarely fails because of the apartment — it fails because of everything around it. That is exactly what we removed.

One rent, no back payment

Electricity, water, heating and Wi-Fi are included. What you read in the contract is what leaves your account every month — no annual settlement, no surprises.

Fully furnished

Bed, wardrobe, desk, kitchen, bathroom — it is all there. You need a suitcase, not a moving van and not a furniture loan.

Renting like ordering online

The entire rental process runs digitally. No mass viewings, no flat-share auditions, no folder with thirty applicants.

More than four walls

Lobby, laundry lounge, event kitchen, gym and a community that helps each other out — depending on the location.

Who lives here

Four situations, one need.

Move in quickly, pay predictably, leave again without baggage.

Students

No flat-share auditions, no deposit for furniture you have to sell after three semesters. A predictable rent for the BAföG application.

Co-Living from €510

Apprentices

Your first own place without the training salary disappearing into furniture and deposits. Central, so the company stays reachable.

Standard from €590

Career starters

New city, new job, no network yet. Community and events in the building solve that faster than any property listing.

Komfort from €690

Project staff & commuters

Fixed-term assignment, second residence, weekend commuter. One invoice per month, cleanly claimable from the employer.

Suite from €760

What's included

What's in — and what costs extra.

We separate this clearly so you can do the maths. Everything below is included in every rent.

  • Heating
  • Wi-Fi throughout the building (25 Mbit/s, 2 devices)
  • Complete furnishing
  • Bicycle parking space

What we cannot replace

Nobody can give you a home. What it grows from — that we can.

„Almost everyone who moves in with us has left something behind: a place whose culture they knew, people they could call without an appointment, streets full of memories, and the everyday knowledge of where things are.

I know what I am talking about. I had to leave my own home behind, and I was in exactly the position our residents are in today. That is why I have a fairly precise idea of what matters when you are new somewhere.

I cannot replace that, and I am not going to claim otherwise. What we can do is provide the material from which something of your own grows again — earlier than it would on your own.“

People

You are not the only new arrival

In our buildings, moving in is the normal state of affairs — almost everyone here arrived at some point without knowing anyone. That makes it far easier to start a conversation than in a building where everyone has lived for twenty years.

The place

A city becomes familiar through its occasions

Summer parties, Christmas gatherings, ski trips: occasions that would be hard to organise on your own — and that show what people here actually do.

Memories

New ones only come from new experiences

Old memories stay where they are. New ones need occasions — that is precisely what the shared evenings in the building are for.

Knowing your way

Where to shop on a Sunday

Which doctor speaks English, how the local transport ticket works, which bakery is worth the walk. Small things that take months to work out on your own — and an afternoon with someone who already knows.

Voices from the house

Renting sight unseen takes trust.

So the people who already live here should have their say — and the companies that book with us for their staff. Unedited, with their real name and location.

★★★★★

The community at THE PLAZE really is something special. I found my feet straight away, and the shared evenings in the building have turned into real friendships. That was what I missed most when I moved.

★★★★★

For our staff working at a large automotive company in Sindelfingen we regularly need accommodation — hotels are no good in the long run. With the team at THE PLAZE we found a solution, and we recommend the concept with a clear conscience.

★★★★★

I rented my apartment at THE PLAZE from home, before my studies had even started. The whole process was digital, every question was answered quickly, and when I arrived, everything was ready.

Always there for you

You know who opens the door.

Every house has its own contact on site. Not a ticket number, not a call centre — a person you already know by name before you move in.

Get in touch

Prefer to see it first?

Book a viewing — in three steps.

Renting works entirely without a viewing, and most people from other cities use it that way. If you are nearby and want to see the apartment first, pick a slot — you will get a confirmation by e-mail and your contact on site will show you around.

Please note: when a house is fully let we cannot show apartments. In that case the waiting list is the faster route.

Nothing free right now? That changes weekly.

Reservations expire, plans change, contracts end. Tell us your location, term and type and we will get in touch the moment something matching comes free — before it appears on the website.

Good to know

A place on the waiting list is not a reservation — we contact you in the order of registration.

Arriving in Germany

The apartment is the easy part.

Anyone moving here from abroad fails on the paperwork, not on the flat: registration office, landlord confirmation, a bank account, credit records nobody has yet. We explain all of it before you sign — in German and English. The rental contract comes in both languages.

Registering your address

Within two weeks of moving in you must register at the Einwohnermeldeamt. You get the landlord confirmation from us at handover — you do not have to chase it.

Renting without a German credit record

We do not ask for a SCHUFA credit record — nobody who has just arrived in Germany has one. For international students the security is the blocked account (Sperrkonto) that has to be set up for the visa anyway.

Contract in English

The rental contract is also available in English — you sign in a language you actually read, digitally and without an appointment on site.

Arriving before you have keys

Flights rarely match handover dates. Tell us your arrival date with the enquiry and we will arrange the handover around it wherever the schedule allows.

For organisations

Housing you can plan with.

Whoever brings people into the region needs beds, not viewing appointments. We reserve fixed contingents — one framework agreement, one contact, one invoice per month.

Companies & employers

For project staff, secondments, apprentices and new hires who need somewhere to live before they know the city.

  • Fixed contingents from two apartments, framework agreement, collective invoice
  • Tenant changes without a new contract each time
  • One monthly invoice, cleanly bookable — no utility settlement years later
  • Furnished on arrival: your people can start on day one
  • Housing as an argument in the competition for apprentices
Request a contingent offer

Universities & training providers

Semester start is a wave, not a trickle. Contingents booked ahead take the pressure off your housing office — and off your international students.

  • Contingents timed to the semester, secured in advance
  • Referral for international students who cannot view in person
  • Co-living from €510 all-inclusive — plannable for a BAföG application
  • Direct contact for your housing office, no waiting queue
  • Annual agreements instead of case-by-case placement
Arrange a first conversation

Before you have to ask.

Rent, contract, moving in, withdrawal — we have already answered the most common questions. And if not: the team is one message away.
